Murder Arrest In Margate

A man will appear in court today accused of murdering a man who died in Margate.

He was found seriously injured at a house in Northdown Road on Saturday.

48-year-old Trevor Brazier from the town was arrested at the scene and has now been charged with murder.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to Mr Brazier’s home at around 6am on Saturday, 2 June 2018. 

"A 48-year-old man was treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service for serious injuries and taken to hospital where he later died.

Mr Brazier was arrested at the scene at 6.28am on Saturday, 2 June."

Due to previous contact at the address Kent Police has self-referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
