Pedestrian Dies Following Hoo Collision

Appeal for information after 24-year-old man seriously injured following Hoo Collision which closed Ratcliffe Highway for five hours on Sunday has now died.
Kent Police are re-appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Medway.
Officers were called to the Ratcliffe Highway, in Hoo, at about 3.05am on Sunday 4 December 2016 after receiving a report that a collision had taken place between a pedestrian and a silver Vauxhall Vectra estate.
It took place on the Rochester-bound carriageway between the junctions with Bell’s Lane and Main Road.
The pedestrian, a 24-year-old man from the Hoo area, was taken to a London hospital but died later that day.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
They are also keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the pedestrian in the moments leading up to the collision. It is believed he was walking towards Hoo, from Rochester, on the Rochester-bound carriageway.
The man was wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and blue jeans.
