Renewed Appeal After October Attack

Police have given Heart a computer generated image of a man after an attempted sex attack back in October.

The incident, which happened in the early hours of Saturday 31 October last year, is one of a number of unsolved similar incidents in the county, which are being investigated further by Kent Police.

The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was walking in Alkerden Lane, Swanscombe, when she was grabbed from behind. However, she was able to give a good description of the man to police who put together this computer-generated image.

He is described as a white man, aged about 30 years and around 6ft tall. He was of stocky build and was overweight around the stomach. He had wide nostrils and a round-shaped face with a small dark tuft of hair under his bottom lip.

He was wearing light faded blue jeans and a dark hooded cardigan. The hood was lined with brown fur and a zip front with toggle buttons on the front. He was wearing white trainers and a silver cross chain around his neck. Police believe he is local to the Swanscombe or Greenhithe area.
