Robber Missing At Isle of Sheppey Prison

Searches continue for 39-year-old William Charles Pearce, serving life for armed robbery at HMP Standford Hill on the Isle of Sheppey but disappeared on Monday.
William Pearce went missing from HMP Standford Hill in Kent, where he was serving a life sentence for armed robbery, at around 1.15pm on Monday May 9.
Police believe he is travelling in a vehicle in the direction of London.
The 39-year-old has links to Kent, Sussex, south-east London, north London and Birmingham.
Members of the public are warned not to approach Pearce but to call the police immediately if they see him.
Investigating officer Sam De Lozey said: ``Pearce is viewed as potentially dangerous and violent and I would urge members of the public to not approach him directly, but to immediately call Kent Police.''
Pearce is described as white, slim build, with dark, shaved hair and brown eyes. He is around 5ft 11in tall, has a southern accent and a three inch scar on his left cheek and a one inch scar on his forehead.
He has a tattoo with the words Mum and Dad on his right shoulder, a tattoo with the word Charlie on his left forearm and a tattoo with two stars and the words Charlie Joanne on his left upper arm.
