A 16 year old boy has been arrested by police investigating an arson attack on a school in Maidstone.
The boy was questioned and later released on bail after a bottle of flammable liquid was thrown through a window at St Simon Stock School on Tuesday night, causing a small fire.
A caretaker discovered the damage in a science block at the secondary at about 6.30am on Wednesday and called fire crews and police.
The fire was out by the time they arrived at the scene.
Pupils and staff were informed what had happened when they arrived later that morning, and lessons continued as normal. But the part of the school where it happened was cordoned off as forensic teams searched for clues,
