Sheerness Stabbing

A murder inquiry has been started after a 29 year old man was stabbed at a flat in Sheerness.

Police were called to the address in West Street, in the Blue Town area at around 5.30pm yesterday.

The air ambulance was also called but the man, who has not been named, could not be saved.

Two men, aged 28 and 46, both from Sheerness have been arrested and are now being questioned on suspicion of murder.

The flat has been cordoned off as forensic teams search for clues. Post mortem tests are due to be carried out on the body of the victim later.
