Suspect Named in Rochester Murder Case

A second man has been named by detectives investigating the suspicious death of a man in Rochester.

28 year old Billy Dole of Chorister Crescent, has been charged with the murder of Peter Beale after he was arrested on September 27th.
A reporting restriction which banned making his name public was temporarily put in place and on the morning of Friday 5 October this was lifted by Maidstone Crown Court.
Mr Beale, who was 39 and from Sittingbourne, was found dead on the Rochester side of the High Street bridge on the morning of Tuesday 18 September 2018.
He had sustained injuries consistent with a stab wound.
Mr Dole is one of two men accused of his murder and has been remanded in custody, pending a trial in 18 March 2019.  
21 year old Levi Webb,  of Station Road in Northfleet, was charged with murder on Wednesday October 3rd.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday October 30th.
