Suspected Stabbing In Rusthall

A man appears to have been stabbed in the shoulder and arm as a group of men in balaclavas burgled the house he was in near Tunbridge Wells.

He's been left with non-life threatening injuries in hospital after it happened in Rusthall around 1 yesterday morning.

Kent Police are treating it as an isolated case and no-one has been arrested.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Tom Daveney from Kent Police said: "I want to reassure residents that we believe this to be an isolated incident and Rusthall remains a safe place to live.

"We have been carrying out enquiries in the area and are seeking to establish the identities of the suspects. They are described as wearing dark clothes and balaclavas.

"Investigators are reviewing CCTV and forensic opportunities. In the meantime, anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who has information that may help the investigation is urged to contact us as soon as possible."
