A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after her Renault Clio hit a parked car in Rainham.
Her passenger is being treated in a London hospital following the crash in Orchard Street.
Kent Police issued the following statement:
"Kent Police was called to a report that a black Renault Clio had crashed into a parked car vcehicle had collided in Orchard Street, Rainham, at 2.35am on Saturday 8 April 2017.
"Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
"A woman, who was travelling in the car, was taken to a London hospital with a serious head injury that is not reported to be life threatening.
"An 18-year-old girl from Rochester was also taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries that were not reported to be serious. She was also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and has been released, pending further enquiries.
"Enquiries are ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident, or who may have seen the Clio being driven in the moments leading up to the collision."
