4. Eyeshadow
Kelly loves smokey eyes with a cat eye effect. To recreate this look you need to blend three different shades. DuWop Eye Palette Cream - Gray Eyes, £21.00 is perfect as it contains all the shades you need for this look (and more). The third step is the black shadow, which must be applied with a thin slanted brush. Click on the next photo to find out how...

5. Slanted Brush
Good makeup brushes are worth investing in as they allow you to create many looks and are a must have for precision. Lightly dip your liner brush into the black shadow, tapping it to get rid of any excess. Draw a thin line from the middle of your eyelid outwards and upwards. Blend slightly with the silver shadow already applied. This will create the perfect smokey eye and will avoid any mistakes. Crown Brush BK11 Taklon Liner, £2.14

6. Fake Eyelashes
For this look, go glamazon and use some fake eyelashes! Eylure Naturalities, £5.05, give plenty of oomph without looking cheap. Apply after makeup. Use a pair of tweezers to hold them and press down as close to the lash line as possible. Let them dry for a minute or two. Use an oil or an oil-based cleanser to remove gently.

7. Blusher
With a soft brush apply a hot pink powder blusher to the apple of your cheeks, with an outward move towards the temples. Smile as you do this for precision. Myface cosmetics R&B rouge blusher in paradiso pink - £9.99 is a great shade and very similar to the one used by Kelly's

8. Lipstick
For this look the shade of hot pink is crucial. Too light and the look screams 60s, too dark or bright and you risky looking overdone. YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in 27 Soft Fuchsia, £24, is a vivacious shade of pink particularly suited to light to medium skin. Darker skin tones would suit Le Fuchsia or Belle De Rose.

9. Lip Brush
Instead of applying the lipstick directly onto the lips, try using a lip brush for a perfectly drawn mouth. After moisturising with lip balm and blotting away excess with a tissue, dip your brush into your lipstick and apply colour from the centre of the mouth outwards. Lightly contour the mouth and add more colour if needed. Crown Brush BK44 Lip Liner Brush, £1.98, is excellent both in performance and price.
