1. L'Oreal to purchase Urban Decay
Cosmetics giant L'Oréal is set to buy independent make-up company Urban Decay. Nicolas Hieronimus president of L'Oreal Luxe, the company's luxury division that includes brands such as YSL Beauté and Ralph Lauren said the brand "will beautifully complement" their existing roster of brands. Tim Warner, general manager of Urban Decay, added the deal "will enable Urban Decay to reach its full potential in the marketplace."

Molton Brown have launched a new unisex fragrance, Valbonne, inspired by the perfume region of Grasse in France. It's a floral scent with top notes of dewy orange flower and bergamot. (£65, 50ml)

3. Korres Create New Iris/Lily Of The Valley/Cotton Fragrance
Korres have launched a new addition to their fine fragrance line named after its dominant notes: Iris/Lily Of The Valley/Cotton. It is part of the brand’s ongoing effort to eliminate potential exposure to synthetics such as polycyclic-musk (PCM), nitro-musk and phthalates. (£29, 50ml)

The inspiration for Bobbi Brown's Caviar and Oyster collection came from a black motorcycle jacket and a piece of delicate pink satin. 7. Molton Brown Extend Their Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod Range
Molton Brown have extended their best-selling pink pepperpod range to include an exfoliating scrub (£29), candle (£36), and eau fraiche (£31). This range consists of notes of pink pepperpod extract, tangerine, ginger and patchouli oil, creating a punchy and spicy scent.
