15. Joico Vero K-Pak Color Age Defy at Eleven Salons

The Joico Vero K-Pak Color Age Defy professional colour line has been created for ageing hair and works exactly on the same principles as anti-ageing skincare. This range doesn't just last longer and cover greys better,it also replenishes, smooths and adds vitality as hair becomes coarser and drier with time. We decided to test this line at Eleven in London's Mayfair, where the super professional and lovely technical director Jason Welch took care of our locks. After the application and development of our chosen shade, our hair was washed and a clear gloss treatment was applied to add lustre and shine. This was then followed by a 5 minutes cuticle treatment, to close hair pores and seal in the colour. Finally a moisturising mask was smoothed over our hair and left on for five minutes, for softness and shine. A fabulous blow-dry finished off the look. The final result was stunning: the colour was vibrant, hair was shiny, soft and looked healthy. After a few washes it's still looking as good as when we left the salon (though our blow-dry isn't quite as gorgeous as the one by Eleven Hair!).
