Find out what the worst makeup crimes are according to a survey by beauty website escentuals.com.
The 'Oblivion' actress is wearing too much powder in this photo, and the wrong shade too: it's far too light for her. Andrea, we hope you sacked the makeup artist, or if you didn't use one, have hired one pronto, because too much powder is considered the worst beauty crime by 4.5% of the people who took part in this survey.
Rather then defining her lashes, Emma Watson went for too many coats of mascara that stuck them together, making them look sparse and clumpy. 6.7% thought this was a no-no. The 'Harry Potter' actress also made another makeup mistake here. Click through the gallery to find out which....
Oh dear, Pammy's really gone after her poor brows here. There's barely anything left! 8.7% thought this was quite the makeup crime. Like Emma Watson, Anderson's also made another maquillage faux pas. Click on the next picture to find out what it is.
9.3% of the women interviewed found 'concealer lips' an offending makeup mistake. Rather than make the lips appear fuller, concealer applied on the mouth makes it disappear altogether. Take note Katie Price, Pamela Anderson and Emma Watson. Just reach for a suitable nude shade instead!
A mistake many women and men make and detested by 16.4% of the voters: the dreaded patchy fake tan. Lindsay Lohan is a celeb who makes this mistake often. She also seems to like an orange tan, rather than the much classier bronze hue.
Streaky foundation is alas a very common mistake and makeup mishap that 20.4% of people asked can't stand it. The best way to avoid this is by applying your base at least 10 minutes after your moisturiser and for best results do so with a foundation brush. Madonna used to sport a streaky face, but she has learnt now and her face always looks flawless.
The worst makeup offender: the thick and dark Scouse brow. Sported by many, including Rita Ora, Coleen Rooney and even occasionally by the generally classy Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. Thankfully it looks like this trend is about to end with 21.2% of people surveyed finding it the worst makeup crime a woman can commit.
