6. I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban
Definitely one of the most inspirational biographies on our list, Malala Yousafzai's autobiography, is a truly remarkable read. The book follows the brave 17-year-old from Pakistan who has been a vocal advocate of the freedom of education from an early age. In 2012 this Nobel Peace Prize winner was shot by vicious Taliban members whilst on her way to school. Unbelievably Malala survived the attack and has since become a international symbol of hope and determination. Picture: Amazon
