Colin Firth met Livia Giuggioli on the set of the TV mini series 'Nostromo'. Italian Livia was an assistant producer on the project and said she fell in love with Firth as soon as they met. Colin has admitted he felt the same way when he met his wife-to-be and was also impressed by the fact that Livia had no idea who he was as Firth wasn't famous in her native Italy. Firth married Giuggioli soon after they met, in 1997.
