If you were thinking of names that draw inspiration from flowers, then the names Daisy, Willow and Violet could be your new favourites.
This season's blossoming trend for baby names this spring appears to be taking inspiration from nature and the outdoors.
If you were thinking of names that draw inspiration from flowers, then the names Daisy, Willow and Violet could be your new favourites as research claims that over 60% of parents are opting for the popular monikers for girls.
The poll, which saw hundreds of parents across the U.K. quizzed by www.emmasdiary.co.uk, also found that the remaining 40% of parents chose tree themed names such as Fern, Primrose and Blossom.

When it comes to boys it looks as though budding parents are opting for a mix of both traditional and modern names, with the favourites being Owen, Maxwell and Neo.
It's thought some our favourite celebrities could be to answer for the growing trend in nature inspired names.
Will Smith and Pink both chose to name their daughters Willow; Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin opted for the more unusual Apple, and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver chose the more traditional name Daisy, for one of his daughters.
