Calls For Tube Talks

21 April 2011, 15:04

Union leaders are calling for talks with the Mayor after what they're describing as 24 hours of tube hell.

Thousands of people were stuck on Jubilee Line trains on Tuesday evening because of a power failure and there were more suspensions yesterday morning as well.

And also yesterday a faulty train and signal failure caused severe delays on the Central Line.

Now the RMT wants Boris Johnson to meet with unions and passenger groups to try and sort out problems on the tube and it's calling for an immediate halt to job cuts.
