London is at the centre of a worldwide campaign to end violence against women and children.

Thousands of campaigners will be at Marble Arch this afternoon (Saturday) as they call for the Government to do more to tackle issues like child abuse in Britain.

Figures show one in three women in the world will become a victim of sexual or physical abuse in their lifetime.

Demonstrators are due to gather in the city later as part of the One Billion Rising campaign.
