Cyclist Dies At Elephant

A cyclist's died after being hit by a lorry near the Elephant and Castle.
It happened just after 4pm on Tuesday 13 May 2014. The man - who hasn't been identified - is the fifth cyclist to die on London's roads this year.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended the scene. The cyclist died at the scene.
The Met Police said no-one had been arrested over the death and a post-mortem examination was due to take place in due course.
Bus crash
A number of people were also hurt when a bus hit a tree in Southwark.
It happened on Blackfriars road just after 5pm on Tuesday 13 May. It was not thought anyone was seriously hurt.
