A former police marksman has pleaded not guilty to the murder of robbery suspect in north London.
24-year-old Azelle Rodney was shot when officers stopped the car he was travelling in with two other men in Edgware in April 2005.
Anthony Long, an ex-specialist firearms officer with the Metropolitan Police, stood in the dock at London's Southwark Crown Court and spoke only to deny the charge.
He has been released on unconditional bail and his trial is due to start at the same court on June 8.
