London students could miss out on uni

Thousands of students across London could miss out on university places as the number of applications rose again this year.

According to UCAS 669,000 people applied to institutions across the UK this year - a rise of 1.4%.

Last year just over 400,000 applicants gained places at University meaning tens of thousands of students will miss out again this year.
