A 29 year old man has been banned from the tube for five years after sexually assaulting two women.

Tanveer Akhtar from Bromley-by-Bow pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault on the Central and Northern lines in July and October last year.

After patrolling, British Transport Police officers saw him commit one of the offences.

Blackfriars Crown Court gave Akhtar a two-year community order and supervision order and as well as the Tube ban, placed him on the sex offenders register for five years.
