Organisers of the London Marathon have spent 150-thousand pounds on emergency arrangements to get elite athletes to race in time.
The race director David Bedford says the amount of money, which has gone on the hire of several planes including private jets, is well spent.
Race organisers say they've also been monitoring pollution levels as a result of the volcanic eruptions, but no issues are anticipated on that.
