Pair Arrested Over Nightclub Shooting

Two men have been arrested over a shooting at a nightclub in north London.

Met Police were called to The Garage Nightclub in Highbury at 11.40pm on Monday (15 December) following reports a man had been shot in the leg.

The injured male was then taken to a north London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Two men, aged 28 and 30 from north London, were detained by officers at a petrol station the following evening.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, but has not yet come forward, to call 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
