Smash and grab police search for red BMW

Police want to trace a red BMW following a smash and grab raid at jewellers at one of London's most exclusives addresses.

A gang of four used sledge hammers to break into branches of De Beers and Omega at the Royal Exchange next to the Bank of England on Saturday night.

The Times says the value of jewels and gems taken could run into millions.
