St Mary's denies closure reports

One of London's most famous hospitals, St Mary's in Paddington where penicillin was discovered, denies reports it could close as it struggles with debts of £100m.

The Independent claims plans are being looked at to sell the land to build 3000 flats.

However the hospital tells London's Heart the story is categorically wrong and there are no plans to close or sell any parts of the hospital.
