Anti-terror police have arrested a 19 year old woman in east London on suspicion of a firearm offence.
Scotland Yard said officers from its SO15 counter terrorism command raided an address on Wednesday 15 October 2014.
They arrested the teenager on suspicion of intent to supply a firearm and perverting the course of justice.
She was being held at a central London police station while officers continued to search the property.
Police were also granted more time to hold a 21-year-old and a 25-year-old arrested on Monday 13 October.
The men are being held on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism and can now be held until Monday 20 October.
Officers completed searches at four addresses in west and north London which began on Tuesday 14 October, Scotland Yard said.
Counter-terrorism officers were also granted more time to hold a 24-year-old man arrested in London on Monday 13 October on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
Scotland Yard said it had applied for and been granted a further extension until Sunday 19 October.
A man and a woman from Portsmouth who were arrested on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences were released on bail on Wednesday 15 October.
The 57-year-old man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of failing to disclose information about acts of terrorism, engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts and arranging availability of money and property for use in terrorism.
The 48-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of failing to disclose information about acts of terrorism.
They are due to answer police bail in December, police said.
Four other people arrested by the south east counter terrorism unit on Tuesday 14 October remain in custody, Thames Valley Police said.
Two men, aged 23 and 26, from Portsmouth, and two women, aged 23 and 29, from Farnborough in Hampshire and Greenwich, south east London, respectively, were being held on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman confirmed the latest arrests were related to the conflict in Syria.
On Tuesday 14 October, Police were given more time to detain a number of suspects arrested in what is believed to have been the early stages of a ''significant plot" following raids in central and west London on Tuesday 7 October.
Police have been given until 21 October to detain three of the men arrested that day.
The suspects, a 21-year-old man and two aged 20, were arrested in London on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
Two other men arrested on the same date for the same offences were released from custody on Monday 13 October.
