Strikes On The Tube

Tube maintenance workers have announced they're to go ahead with two 48-hour strikes in a row over jobs, pay and conditions.

RMT union members working on Tube Lines contracts will walk out from 7pm on June 23 and again from 7pm on July 14.

The union says it hasn't had assurance that jobs will be safe when the company's work is taken over by Transport for London.

TfL's calling for the strike to be called off and for talks after it takes over the work.
