Sky Q – (Promotion) Heart London Competition 2019
RULES
The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk.com/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Sky Q’ Promotion (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 2nd September - Friday 6th September 2019.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message to the number given out on air (the text message line) along with the keyword stated by the presenter(s).
Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.
The opening and closing times of the text message line will be given out on air.
One entrant will be selected at random each day from all eligible entries and come to air and play.
The entrant will be required to talk to the presenter(s). If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random.
Each day we will bring a different caller to air and they will have to answer questions within the time limit given out by the presenters. Each question asked is worth 1 point and the aim is to get as many points as you can.
Out of all the contestants across the week, whoever has the highest score at the end of the competition round on Friday’s show (6th September) will win and be awarded the prize. Prize details below.
If two or more contestants are on the same amount of points, a tie breaker question will be asked by the presenters on-air to decide who the winner is.
Eligibility:
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Entrants must be based in the UK.

5 nights’ accommodation at Hollywood Hotel with daily breakfast.
Tickets to a concert of the winner’s choice at Hollywood’s Greek Theatre.

£500 spending money.

PRIZE SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS:

THE SKY Q PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Sky Q prize package consists of: 1 x Sky Q TV subscription for 12 months to include the following:
1 x Sky Q Complete Bundle TV package including Sky Sports Complete and Sky Cinema;
1 x Sky Q Multiscreen subscription; and
Free standard installation provided by Sky subject to the Prize Conditions
Sky will also loan the prize winner 1 x Sky Q 2TB box and 1 x Sky Q Mini box at no charge.
N.B New Netflix and Spotify accounts are not included within the prize package
1 x 55” UHD TV.
The following terms shall apply to the Prize (the “Prize Conditions”)
a) The winner will be required to enter into a new Sky Q TV subscription contract. If the winner is an existing Sky TV customer, your existing Sky TV subscriptions will come to an end and you must enter into a new Sky Q TV subscription contract.
b) After your 12 month free Sky Q TV subscription comes to an end, standard subscription length (18 months) and prices at the time of re-contracting will apply, unless you change or cancel your package, giving Sky at least 31 days’ notice. Standard subscription prices may change. Please refer to www.sky.com for current pricing. You must be over 18 and resident in the United Kingdom.
c) The Prize does not include:
A broadband subscription (to experience Sky Q features to the full, we recommend connecting your boxes to home broadband);
Sky Box Office, Sky Store purchases/rentals, Stand-alone Premium Channels, or pay-per-view services and events
New Netflix or Spotify accounts
d) Watching on an extra TV screen comes at a one-off cost of £99 and Sky will loan you an extra Sky Q Mini at no cost (recommend connecting no more than 4 Sky Q Minis in total)
e) Prices, programmes/channels are subject to change.
f) Engineer set-up required.
g) The winner must get any consents required (e.g. landlord’s) prior to installation.
h) Winners must redeem the prize within a year. Winners who are in a current pay-TV contract with another provider may defer their Prize for a maximum of 12 months from the date of winning. If a winner does not redeem his/her Prize within 12 months from the date of winning, this could result in loss of the Prize. If the winner has a previous uncleared debt with Sky the winner will not be able to take up the Prize until this debt has been fully cleared.
i) There is no cash alternative to the Prize or any element thereof and unless agreed otherwise in writing the Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
j) Sky reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the Prize if a winner or a party authorised by the winner to act on their behalf, threatens or abuses a Staff employee or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner that Sky reasonably regards as inappropriate, offensive or unlawful.
k) Prize winner will own the Sky dish. The Sky Q box, the Sky Q Mini and all other Sky Q kit is loaned to the winner at no cost and must be returned when the winner’s 12 month prize subscription terminates or when the winner leaves Sky, whichever is earlier. Mechanical faults with the Sky Q kit will be repaired at no cost.
l) Sky Q installations currently average a 28 day waiting period.
m) TVs can take up to 28 days for delivery
LOS ANGELES TRIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
1 x trip for 2 adults to LA including:
Return flights from London to Los Angeles
Return private airport transfers in Los Angeles
5 nights’ hotel accommodation in Hollywood, with a four-star rating, based on sharing a double or twin room with daily breakfast
Tickets for an outdoor gig of winner’s choice at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles up to a maximum value of $100 per person
Cocktails at The Virgil bar in East Hollywood up to a maximum value of $50 per person
Three-course dinner and drinks at a five-star hotel restaurant in West Hollywood up to a maximum value of $125 per person

Travel Insurance
The following terms shall apply to the Prize (the “Prize Conditions”)
Economy flights available from major international airports in London only; Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Winner and guest must have full passport valid for at least 6 months at time of travel; Any necessary visas are responsibility of winner and guest; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation; Hotel accommodation is based on two adults sharing one double or twin room; Hotel will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companion to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companion are aged 70 or over; Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prize elements are subject to availability; Prize cannot be taken from 21st December 2019 – 2nd January 2020 (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays, over Easter Sunday, or during the months of July and August; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates no later than six weeks prior to departure; Stay must include a Saturday night in the hotel; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; At least one traveller must be aged 21 or over; Where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; Minimum age for cocktails is 21 years old. If any guests are aged under 21, an alternative activity of equal value will be provided; Concerts take place at the Greek Theatre between the months of April and October. If winners choose to travel outside of these months, tickets of equivalent value for a concert at an alternative indoor venue will be provided; The prize excludes domestic ground transfers; The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where outlined above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.
SKY TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Promoter shall administer the Competition and allocate the Prize as follows and shall ensure that the Competition Terms and Conditions shall contain terms that give effect to the Prize Conditions set out below. The Promoter shall ensure that all entrants to the competition are notified of and accept the Prize Conditions before entering the Competition and again before accepting a Prize.
This promotion is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over only. Proof of age may be required. The Competition is not open to employees (or family members of employees) of any Sky UK Limited (“Sky”), companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies.
If the winner cannot accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from the enjoyment of the prize; and/or any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize beyond the Promoter’s control; and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
By entering the competition, if you are the winner, you agree that you and your guests (if applicable) agree that Sky may make your full names and counties available and may use your full names, counties and photographs for post-event publicity purposes without your permission or paying you anything. You further agree and agree to procure that any guests agree to the use of your names, images and any video or voice recordings of you or your guests (if applicable) in any media in, perpetuity, as Sky sees fit. You agree and agree to procure that your guests agree that the copyright (if any) and all other rights title and interest in and to any contribution by you or your guests shall vest in and be irrevocably assigned to Sky.
Sky reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the Prize if a winner or a party authorised by the winner to act on their behalf, threatens or abuses a Staff employee or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner that Sky reasonably regards as inappropriate, offensive or unlawful.
Any entrant data collected will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting the winner[s] to notify them of the prize and, if you are the winner, we may pass them on to third parties to deliver the prize.
