A green Volvo lorry then collided with a red Volvo causing a puncture in a seventh vehicle, a Mercedes lorry.”
4 fire engines were sent to the scene of the crash and teams used cutting equipment to free those trapped.
The 31 year old male driver of the white DAF lorry and a 28 year old man from Derby who was driving the white Mercedes lorry have both been taken to hospital with their injuries.
