Car crashes in to supermarket

A car's crashed through the front windows of a supermarket in Bletchley.

It happened at the Best-One store on St Mary's Avenue in Bletchley at around 10am on Friday.

Firefighters from Bletchley, Broughton and Great Holm went to the incident, along with a turntable ladder.

Best OneBefore they arrived, a woman had managed to get out of the car, uninjured.

Station Manager Dave Norris attended the incident and said:

"Fortunately no-one was injured, and the damaged area was not load bearing.

"Firefighters remained at the scene until building control officers from Milton Keynes Council arrived and to to help the vehicle recovery firm."
