Man assaulted on New Years Day

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted during the early hours of New Year’s Day (1/1) in Milton Keynes.
The incident happened at about 4.30am as the victim, a 30-year-old man, was walking home from an address in Padstow Avenue, Fishermead, towards Oldbrook.
As he reached the junction of Perran Avenue and Fishermead Boulevard, just off the Redway, he was assaulted by a group of several offenders. The victim sustained a two-inch cut to his head.
He did not get a good look at the offenders so was unable to give police any description.
