Cyclist hurt in roundabout crash

A cyclist in his 70s suffers has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on a Milton Keynes grid road roundabout.

The man was struck by a silver Corsa at the Bancroft roundabout, at the junction between V6 Grafton Street and H3 Monks Way at 8.40am on Sunday 10 April 2011.

The cyclist was wearing a red lycra top and riding a blue Giant road bike.  He is being treated at Milton Keynes General Hospital.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on bail until 22 May.
