Drayton Parslow body identified

Human remains found in a garden in Drayton Parslow earlier this month have been identified.

They are those of 70 year old Samuel Alexander, who hadn't been seen since last August.

Police found the remains at the pensioner's home in Prospect Close earlier this month.

Mr Alexander was formally identified on Friday (19th Feb) by his dental records.

His son, Mark Alexander, who's 22 and of Fleet Street in London, was charged with the murder of Mr Alexander on 12th February.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday 17th May.
