Detectives investigating a report of a rape in Milton Keynes have released a description of the suspect.

A teenage girl was raped by a man in an alleyway off Marjoram Place, Conniburrow, between 8pm and 8.40pm on Tuesday night (21/2).

The man is described as black, approximately 30 years old, 5ft 8ins, slim, with dark hair, a goatee beard and a moustache. He was wearing black baggy tracksuit bottoms, a black hooded top and black pumps.

Det Insp Amanda Blake, overseeing the investigation, said: “Our investigation is progressing and we are keen to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity or anyone matching the man’s description in the area. Door-to-door enquiries are continuing and neighbourhood officers are carrying out extra patrols in the area to help reassure the community. Once again I urge anyone with any concerns to speak to those officers. While we do not want to cause alarm, we do think it would be prudent for people to take extra care and remain vigilant when out and about.”
