Missing Bucks pensioner.

The son of a missing Buckinghamshire pensioner has appeared in court, charged with his father’s murder.

70 year old Samuel Alexander, from Drayton Parslow, was last seen in August 2009, but only officially reported missing by neighbours a fortnight ago.

On Wednesday 10th February police found human remains in the garden of Samuel Alexander’s home in Prospect Close.

Law student, 22 year old Mark Alexander, of Fleet Street in London has been charged with his father’s murder and appeared at Reading Crown Court this morning, where he was remanded in custody.

An inquest into the human remains, which were found, is due to be opened tomorrow (Tues).

Mark Alexander is due in court again for a plea and case management hearing on 17th May.
