Renewed appeal for sexual assault in MK

Police have renewed their appeal for information, almost two months after a sexual assault against a 14-year-old girl in Milton Keynes.

It happened on Sunday 25th April at about 8pm. The teenager was walking home from the park in Great Holm, along a tree-lined track between Kensington Drive and Goodwood, when she was held to the ground by three men, while a fourth sexually assaulted her.

Det Con Wendy Fellowes, working on the investigation, said: “Despite extensive coverage in the media and a personal appeal from the victim’s father we have received very little information from the public about this attack. We are sure that there are people out there who know who the offenders are, but for whatever reason they are protecting the people responsible. We have recovered forensic evidence so people don’t need to be worried about naming the wrong person; we have the evidence there to eliminate them if they are innocent.

“This was a vile, cowardly assault on a young girl and I would urge anyone who knows anything about this to contact me. If you don’t want to give your name, or talk to the police, then please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and tell us what you know anonymously. People need to think how they would feel if this happened to their sister or daughter, we need people to come forward and tell us what they know so we can catch those responsible.”

The main offender is of mixed race, in his early twenties, at least 6ft and had short black hair. He had a distinctive beard from his jaw line down his neck but no hair on his face. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black or dark grey tracksuit bottoms and a light blue jumper.

The second offender is also of mixed race, late teens to early twenties, 5ft 8ins and skinny. He was wearing a baseball cap, white T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the side and black chunky trainers.

The other two offenders are both white, in their early twenties, about 5ft 8ins and skinny. One was wearing a black baseball cap, black or dark grey tracksuit bottoms and a blue T-shirt. The second offender was wearing a denim type hat with a short peak, dark blue jumper with red marks and navy blue tracksuit bottoms.
