Severe Delays On M1 Bucks and Northants Both Ways

The Highways Agency is warning drivers to avoid the M1 for Bucks and Northants, both ways, due to several accidents.

Drivers can expect to face long delays for much on the day on the M1 for Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, between junctions 14 and 15.

It's after a lorry collided with the central reservation, knocking down five lighting posts.

Junctions 15 and 14 southbound there's been a multi-vehicle accident, closing two lanes.

The Highways Agency says one lane on both sides will be closed for the rest of the day.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area, especially during rush-hour.
