Two men have appeared in court after a 19 year old was stabbed in the Wolverton area of Milton Keynes.
The teenager was hurt in Windsor Street at 3.20pm on Sunday 4 August 2013.
He had been walking along the street when he was approached by two men. He started a conversation with the men, and this then turned into a fight. The 19 year old was stabbed and the two men ran off.
The teenager was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he underwent surgery. He was said to be in a stable condition.
Brendan Powell, 18, from Western Road, Wolverton and Kyle Fabian 20, from Marina Drive, Wolverton have been charged with wounding with intent. They were due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 6 August.
A police helicopter hovered over Wolverton for much of the afternoon of Sunday 4 August as police carried out their investigations.
