Top Slimmer Drops 7 Dress Sizes

A Milton Keynes woman is celebrating being named Yummy Mummy Slimmer of the Year.

Helen Elverson, 33, picked up the Rosemary Conley award after losing 8st and 7lb in just 14 months, going from a size 24 to a size 10. 

It's after she took part in a special diet club. 

Her weight had shot up after three pregnancies and a change in lifestyle but she blames herself for gorging on cakes, pastries, chocolates and five bags of crisps a day after having her first baby. 

She said: 'It wasn't just baby cravings, it was me being a pig and I reckon I was getting through 4,000 calories some days.'

Once a party loving teenager she had started to struggle tying her shoe laces.

She was presented an award and £1000 from Rosemary Conley in a ceremony at the Marriott County Hall Hotel in London on Wednesday 4 January 2012.
