Tributes To Jim Marshall

People from all over the world have been paying tribute to Jim Marshall OBE
Milton Keynes Mayor Alan Richards said:
“I was very sad to hear of Jim Marshall’s passing – he was a great philanthropist and a marvellous ambassador for Milton Keynes.
He will leave behind a massive hole in the world of music, having supplied top quality amplifiers and other equipment to legendary musicians for decades. I was lucky to meet him on a number of occasions – for example through his work with the MKDons, and I was very pleased when he was awarded the Freedom of the Borough, and of course his OBE. He will be sadly missed.”

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has described the news as "deeply saddening". On Twitter he said "R & R will never be the same w/out him. But, his amps will live on FOREVER!'
