37-year-old woman stabbed in Milton Keynes

A woman has been arrested for attempted murder following a stabbing in Milton Keynes.

The 53 year old, from Birmingham, was arrested after the police were called to the Fishermead estate at 6.45am on Thursday 12th December.

A 37 year old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The 53 year old was also treated in hospital.

Thames Valley Police Commander Barry Halliday said: "The two women were known to each other and enquiries are continuing to work out the exact circumstance of this incident."
