A 12ft sculpture of an Indian elephant made with book pages by Michael Howells is on display at the Port Eliot stately home in Cornwall. Howells, who is production designer for the ballet company Rambert, made the sculpture to raise awareness and funds for the charities Elephant Family and Habitat for Humanity, which aim to highlight the destruction of elephants and their habitats and the ways in which the two organisations are working together to protect endangered Asian elephants.
