Kate and Wills name Royal baby Prince Louis Arthur Charles

Welcome to the world Prince Louis of Cambridge!

Nearly four days after he was born, Kate and Wills have announced that that they've named their new baby Louis Arthur Charles, and he will officially be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.

Kensington Palace broke the news on Twitter at 11.01, the exact same time that the Royal baby was born on Monday.

The post read: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.”

They added: “The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”

Prince William, 35, and Kate Middleton, 36 took slightly longer to announce the newborn’s moniker this time round, having waited three days to reveal Prince George’s and two days for Charlotte.

Meanwhile, Prince William’s name didn’t get announced until a whole week after his birth and Prince Charles was a month!
