Prince George's 5th birthday to be celebrated with commemorative £5 coin

Prince George will be celebrating his fifth birthday this Sunday, and the Royal Mint has decided to honour his birthday in a way that he'll never forget.
Britain's future King is set to have a commemorative £5 coin released in his honour, to celebrate his fifth birthday.
Prince George, the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be turning five on Sunday 22nd July.
The special edition coin will feature the legend of St George and the Dragon, with the year 2018 added to mark its release.

The coin will also be placed in a smart presentation pack named 'The Progress of a Prince', with a sweet acorn image emblazoned across the front.

Prince George, who is third in line to the throne, has just completed his first year of eduction at Thomas's Battersea in South London, during which he got the starring role of a sheep in the class nativity play last Christmas.

He cuts a shy figure in comparison to his younger sister, Princess Charlotte, who at the age of just three has already shown the world her cheeky side.
The little royals attended the christening of their younger brother Prince Louis, at which Princess Charlotte was quick to remind the press that they 'weren't invited'.

After The Queen, George's grandfather Prince Charles will take the throne, followed by his father Prince William, before the youngster himself will eventually become His Majesty.
