5. Prince Charles and Diana Spencer
Charles and Di got married in a fairytale wedding at St Paul's Cathedral on 29 July 1981. The blonde beauty's dress epitomised 80s style with it's big shoulder pads and plenty of frill. However, the union between the two sadly wasn't as simple as happily ever after. Lady Diana's biographer Andrew Morton later reported that the Princess confided in her sisters ahead of the wedding: "I can't marry him… this is absolutely unbelievable" she fretted. By then however, it was too late to pull out.
