Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer's first born son wed Kate Middelton at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011. Broadcasters reported that over 24 million viewers on average watched the TV coverage of the big day. The bride wore a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen design and was given away by her father Michael Middleton, as is tradition.
