Hathaway considered for Batman role

The actress is up for The Dark Knight Rises part

"Love & Other Drugs" actress Anne Hathaway is being considered for a role in the next Batman's film, The Dark Knight Rises.

According to industry site Deadline, there are six actresses being considered for a meaty role in the new installment of Batman, which will be directed by Inception's Chris Nolan.

Hathaway confirmed she is up against other actresses for a part, but would not comment further.
