Cole looks set to join US X Factor

Cheryl Cole looks set to move to the US and become a judge on the American version of the X Factor.

After much speculation, the Fox Network's chairman of entertainment Peter Rice hinted that the Geordie star will indeed follow Simon Cowell and join the show overseas.

There were fears that Cheryl's strong Newcastle accent would be difficult  for the American audience to understand, but Fox is said to be very impressed with the TV personality and they are keen to work around the accent issue and have the star on board.
