Man and woman found dead in Birmingham home

A man and woman have been founded dead in a house in Birmingham.

Emergency services were called to the property on Oxford Road in Moseley just before 5.30pm on Saturday.

The two people were found inside with serious injuries, but nothing could be done to save them and they were both declared dead at the scene.

Murder detectives are currently investigating how the pair sustained their injuries.

At this time they do not suspect anyone else to be involved, West Midlands Police said.

The couple were known to each other.

A cordon has been erected around the property in order to allow forensic investigators to collect evidence and police officers are speaking to neighbours.
